Thomas Halsey was a public servant in the Commonwealth Department of Immigration. He migrated to Australia from Hungary in the late 1940s. These four albums contain many photographs, social and landscape of Canberra and the ACT region. The albums contain family snapshots of Thomas Halsey as a young boy/man in his home country as well as many European holiday destinations. Upon arrival in Australia and life in Canberra, he continued his love of photography, bush-walking and enjoying the landscape...
